Oma Has An Admirer!!

Shocked and Awed!! That's how I felt the other day when my Mom returned from her customary walk. She has pretty much the same route all the time and that's mostly so that if I need to go looking for her it's pretty easy. I have had to do that a couple of times when she has been out longer than normal. That's by way of explaining that most people who are home in the daytime would have at some point seen her walking. She also uses a walker and takes frequent breaks where she sits down on the walker for a rest. We also live in a neighbourhood that has the highest concentration of senior citizens in the Greater Toronto Area. She returned from her walk with an amazing story the other day. Seems she sat down for a rest and as she was sitting an eldery gentleman from a neighbouring house came running across the street to talk to her. He wanted to tell her that he had seen her frequently, what was her name and told her his. He invited her to his house, an invitation she accepted (much to my dismay) and they proceeded to have a conversation. At one point, she tells me that he tried to kiss her and hold her hand. She backed off and told him "it's too soon". I can almost picture this and I want to go over to this guys house and tell him off. But I think I will wait and see how this develops. I have told her that I would prefer that she not go to stranger's houses just like I would tell a teenager, except she's 83!!! How do I handle this???
