China Flexes It's Muscles

Very few people really pay attention to China other than to buy cheap products from that country but really, should we?

That question comes up every now and again when The Peoples Republic tries to buy a western oil company. Then everyone gets upset about how we shouldn't be selling our natural resources to a communist country.

A couple of days ago China successfully carried out an anti satellite test destroying it's own aging weather satellite.

So what does this really mean? Well, according the the article from the New York Times, linked above, the Chinese are starting the weaponization of space and/or are capable of wiping out all American anti spy satellites.

In my view, kind of scary. I have no use whatsoever for the Peoples Republic or any other communist country and we should all be a more than a little nervous.
