Misfit - Your Are Living Up To Your Name

Before anyone considers buying a fitness tracker, give this one a pass. I did not buy it, it was given to me as a Christmas gift and I decided to keep it and use it. First mistake... should have returned it right away, spent a few extra bucks and bought a better quality one, whose name I wont mention.

The second mistake is believing what it says on the box and in the enclosed material.

It's pretty clear on the box that it's waterproof to 30 meters. I hadn't even gone swimming with it, just shower, when it stopped working.

Then the fun started with Misfit customer service. They tried really really hard to tell me that nope, it's actually not waterproof, its only water resistant and tried to make me feel dumb. I wasn't born yesterday sweeties, I'm of an age where I do know the difference.

Emails (and I have 14 of them) have been going back and forth since mid January and finally by February they decided they would replace this unit with the Shine, which is indeed waterproof.

Great said I, send it. Since early March I have been told there are international shipping problems and they would be sorted "soon".

Hi Rositta,
Thank you for getting back to me. Actually, we just got informed by relevant team that the international shipment will be ready in next weeks. However, the information has still not confirmed yet so I don't want to release it to customer. At this time, I totally understand your frustration and we are trying our best to make sure that everything will be ready in next week (as plan). I hope for your kind understanding and patient.
Best regards,
Neal | Misfit Support Team
This is the last email and since then there has been silence from this company. It is now mid May.
This is the same excuse that I have been given since mid March, really? Am I expected to believe this?
