A Bit Of A Dry Patch
I've either run out of topics or I'm ignoring all the bad news out there. It's a gray, rainy and depressing day out there today, at least here in T-Dot. It's gray day on the stock market too where what little I own is evaporating by the minute.
I decided to go out for a bit to the local mall, get a few groceries and maybe a little yarn for a scarf for Elliotte. I'm standing in the checkout line at the local Zellers store and noticed the sign; January 7th - 10% discount for seniors over 55. I'm thinking about that for a minute as I'm standing there with some yarn, sewing machine needles and a lip liner to redraw my lips that seem to shrink faster than the piles of snow outside. It dawns on me in horror that yup, I qualify and have qualified for a number of years. Funny how that kind of creeps up on you isn't it...

Geesh, I didn't know that. Maybe I'd better check to see what else I can get cheaper...ciao
Oh my God...it just hit me...I'm 57 and I haven't been taking advantage of that yet! Thank you Rositta.
Your welcome, now I'm going to find out what else we can get discounted...
LOL, that is funny.
Here is a weird story about a Zeller's flyer. My husband's friend's Grandmother was looking at the flyer years ago. All of a sudden she exclaimed "WHEN DID THEY START SELLING CHICKENS AT ZELLERS". . .she was looking at the lingerie section and mistook a bra for a poulet.
Ya, I know about the topic thing. Over the past few months I have started to expose all my idiosyncrasies instead of yammering about something really valid.
Your posts are always fruitful though and I enjoy all of them.
Lisa, now you have me laughing...
Thank you for your nice comments to me, Matty. I like your thoughts! And your good wishes for the Season. They are passed back to you.
