I Am Alive

Yes truly, I am here and still kicking. I just don't feel much like blogging these days. This month my blog has been around for four years. I'm having a relapse of fybromyalgia and I feel like poop. I guess I've been lucky since it's been well over a year since I've felt this way. My foot is also giving me some grief and I'm kind of housebound. I did see my hip surgeon last week and he suggested that my hip could wait a couple of years. I suspect that it has something to do with our waiting lists.

In less than a month we will on the move again. I know I said I was tired of flying and I am but we are going to Calgary to spend Christmas with the offspring and family. Ideally if I had a choice I'd be heading to Cuba instead, somewhere warmer than Calgary in winter, but what the heck...it's family.

I don't know when I'll be back but assuredly I will be following all my favourite blogs and commenting...ciao

I'm Gobsmacked!

For the first time in a long time I have nothing to say. Rather than just write drivel, for the sake of writing I'm not going to write anything. Not that there' s nothing going on that bugs me, just that it's probably been written about somewhere out there.

I'm tired of living in a "nanny state" with no where else to go, I'm tired of crime and innocent people being shot or stabbed to death, and I'm tired of politicians who ponder the wisdom of a carbon tax, which we all know isn't really going to be revenue neutral. That's what they said about the GST too and it sure didn't end up that way.

So until I feel like ranting again, I'll just stay silent. I will be visiting all my favourite blogs though, couldn't do without my fix. You guys are just too much fun to skip. I'm also busy getting ready for a garage sale and clearing out my Mom's room.
